Mannheim / Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region – 8 more corona cases for the leaders of the ice hockey Bundesliga from the Mannheimer Adler team. After national player Matthias Plachta, who had already dropped out in the 3-2 home win against the Nuremberg Ice Tigers, Sinan Akdag, Jason Bast, Andrew Desjardins, Mark Katic, Nico Krämmer, Jordan Szwarz, David Wolf and head coach Pavel Gross are now positive about it been tested for coronavirus. The infected players and the coach are doing well under the circumstances, they are all in quarantine at home. The Adler are in close contact with the Mannheim Health Department. This was announced by the DEL leader Adler Mannheim on Saturday.
In the DEL table, the Adler Mannheim lead the table with an average of 2.316 ahead of EHC Red Bull-Munich with an average of 2.067 points.
The Adler Mannheim's next home game would be on Tuesday, November 16 at 7:30 p.m. against Gothenburg in the Champions Hockey League in the SAP Arena in Mannheim.
