Make-up brand Mecca Max announces transition to vegan products close

The Australian make-up brand Mekka Max announced that it will only sell vegan cosmetics with immediate effect and has now removed all animal products from the range for this purpose.

The beauty brand had previously spoken out against animal testing of any kind and received animal testing-free certification in 2017. Now the collection should also be 100 percent vegan in order to meet customers and their changing demands.

"We knew that animal-friendly products were important to our customers," said Brand Manager Ellie Hockley. She adds that it made sense to remove all animal products without compromising quality.

The popular make-up label is thus joining other manufacturers of vegan cosmetics, such as Milk make-up, and is reacting to the requirements and wishes of their customers. In addition, during the reorientation towards vegan manufacturing and production, Mecca Max was even able to ensure that the products in the new collection remained attractively priced.
