We'll admit - when we saw the eyeshadow hack, we were a bit skeptical. We regularly use a wide variety of brushes for our eye make-up. But as the video proves, there isn't just one way to create a perfect eyeshadow look.
Eyeshadow hack: You need these utensils to make your eye make-up a success
Instead of many different brushes, you only need a few utensils for the hack to create a beautiful eyeshadow look. The first step is to grab the eyeshadow palette of your choice and choose two colors that harmonize with each other. You are completely free in the choice of the color group, because both more natural and brighter colors work great with the eyeshadow hack. It's best to have something ready to remove make-up and a couple of cotton swabs to correct if you can't apply the eye shadow precisely enough.
Finally, grab a clean Beauty Sponge that has no makeup residue on it. This avoids unsightly stains in eye make-up.
Get rid of the brushes: Perfect eyeshadow look thanks to the Beauty Sponge
Now use your Beauty Sponge to apply the two eyeshadow colors of your choice. It is important that the colors on the sponge do not overlap completely, but rather are placed next to each other. The lighter color points in the direction of the inner corner of the eye - this is the only way to get a beautiful blended color gradient on the lid, which opens the eyes and thus optically enlarges them. Now carefully dab your Beauty Sponge with the eyeshadow colors onto your eyelid. You repeat this process until the two colors have connected nicely.
Glitter eyeshadow completes the make-up look
In the last step we add some glitter eyeshadow to our eye make-up. Find a suitable shade in your eyeshadow palette and pick it up with the tip of the Beauty Sponge. This enables more precise application, as the area at the inner corner of the eye is significantly smaller than the movable lid. Apply the eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eye by dabbing again and blend the glittering color with the already applied eyeshadow. When you are satisfied with the blending, you can use some make-up remover and a cotton swab to remove excess eyeshadow and bring your eye make-up into shape. Now just apply some mascara and et voilà - your perfect eyeshadow look is done like a professional.
