Eddie Mekka: Career on Broadway and on TV
Mecca started his career on Broadway, where he was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in "The Lieutenant" in 1975. Von 1976 bis 1983 spielte er in der Sitcom "Laverne & Shirley" den Carmine Ragusa.He had further appearances in the series "24", "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" or "Rich and Beautiful".On stage he played in Las Vegas in the musical "Hairspray" in 2006 and went on tour for "Grease" in 2010.
Mekka leaves his wife Yvonne Marie Grace and the daughter Mia together.
