Ludwigshafen / Bad Dürkheim / Speyer / Frankenthal / Landau / Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. Various platforms called for a public meeting this Monday evening (December 20th, 2021) to take a stand against the Corona measures to put. Meetings were not registered. The cities of Frankenthal, Landau, Neustadt, Speyer and the districts of Bad Dürkheim, Germersheim and Südliche Weinstraße had previously issued general decrees banning the meetings known as “Monday walks”.
According to our prepared operational concepts, we were present at relevant locations with strong police forces. We found several small groups who had nevertheless followed the call. A total of around 900 people could be identified as so-called “walkers”. When spoken to and informed about the ban on assembly, most of the people left again.
The people were distributed among the following locations:

Bad Bergzabern: 80 people
Bad Dürkheim: 30 people
Dannstadt-Schauernheim: 20 people
Deidesheim: 20 people
Frankenthal: 5 people
Freinsheim: 40 people
Germersheim: 150 people
Green town: 25 people
Hassloch: 100 people
Candle: 50 people
Landau: 100 people
Ludwigshafen: 40 people
Maxdorf: 17 people
Mother City: 46 people
New Town: 70 people
Speyer: 50 people
Worth: 25 people
Besides this, three people registered an elevator in Mutterstadt, which was approved by the local assembly authority. It went smoothly.
132 people were identified. 51 administrative offense proceedings were initiated for violations of the general decrees (bans on assembly) and 40 evictions were issued.
In addition, three criminal proceedings were initiated for resisting law enforcement officers in Speyer and insulting police forces in Germersheim and showing the Hitler salute in Frankenthal.
A registered vigil in Speyer with around 100 participants was peaceful and trouble-free.
Around 500 people from the Rheinpfalz police headquarters and the police headquarters for operations, logistics and technology were deployed.
