Halo Infinite: Certain Affinity mode is said to be beginner-friendly

The fact that Halo Infinite should have a Battle Royale mode was speculated long before its release.

With Certain Affinity, a developer familiar with the Halo franchise has reportedly already taken over work on a new multiplayer mode.

Jez Corden first reported the rumor last week and has now made further, unofficial statements about the possible mode of Certain Affinity.

This is the code name for the multiplayer mode "Tatanka". Nothing is known about the status of the development. The publication is still a few months away.

This is a mode that is less competitive and less demanding than the existing Big Team Battle and Arena modes.

Halo Infinite: Certain Affinity mode alleged beginner-friendly

Since it is apparently also intended to attract players who are not otherwise interested in Halo Infinite's multiplayer, it is designed to be more "beginner-friendly".

Although the definition is unclear here, Corden notes that it may have similarities to the Horde mode from Gears or the PvPvE Warzone mode from Halo 5: Guardians.

One can only speculate whether it will ultimately be a Battle Royale mode. Especially since 343 Industries had ruled out such a mode in the past.

The possible integration into the Halo Forge, i.e. the forge in which players can create their own content, is interesting. The smithy is supposed to come in the summer.

Furthermore, existing cosmetics from Halo Infinite's multiplayer can also be used in the new mode. But it is also possible to have your own new progress system.

Halo Infinite is still in its infancy and plans to support it with new content such as game modes, maps, and more for many years to come.
