From Saturday, December 11, the joint exhibition "Z Zwischenzeit" by the Association of Palatinate Artists (APK) can be seen in the Kunsthaus Frankenthal. It will be opened on Friday, December 10th at 7 p.m. by Mayor Martin Hebich. Stefan Engel, CEO of the APK, speaks a word of welcome and introduces the exhibition.
The 2 G plus rule applies to the vernissage. In addition to the vaccination or recovery certificate, a daily negative test result from a certified test center must be submitted. A self-test on site is not possible. There is no obligation to test for visitors who have already received the booster vaccination.

About the exhibitionBetween normality and a state of emergency - this is how we experienced and are still experiencing the time of the corona pandemic. An interim period in which the world had to rearrange itself and consequently perspectives have shifted for all of us. How did artists experience this time? Hartmann, Petra Hübel, Gabriele Jahnke, Petra Jung, Anne Janoschka, Marita Mattheck, Siegbert Merx , Engelbert Müller, Dieter Kühn, Ulrich G. Oberst, Elke Pfaffmann, Manfred Plathe, Meike Porz, Bärbel Rothhaar, Silvia Rudolf, Katharina Rumpf, Anne-Marie Sprenger, Horst Steier, Matthias Strugalla, Cordula Wagner, Irmgard Weber, Hedda Wilms and Dimana Wolf.
The works presented were created during the corona pandemic. A wide variety of positions in dealing with this stressful phase of great restrictions and an exciting spectrum of artistic reflections are presented. The selection of artists, exhibition conception and curating is in the hands of the APK board.
More about the Association of Palatinate Artists (APK) The APK has represented the interests of visual artists in the Palatinate for decades to this day. It forms the foundation of a visual art that unites and unites the differences between generations, styles and concerns. The Palatinate Gallery in Kaiserslautern is the ancestral home of current Palatinate art. Most of the major annual exhibitions that take place every two years were also shown in it. Juried exhibitions also took place in Ludwigshafen, in Hambach Castle, in the Jockgrim tithe house, in the Pirmasens exhibition hall, in the Kusel cloth factory, in the Villa Streccius Landau and in other cities.
The exhibition can be seen in the Kunsthaus until January 16, 2022, Wednesday to Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pre-registration is not required.
