Duchess Meghan's father is apparently still trying to mend the broken relationship with his daughter. As he revealed to the celebrity portal "TMZ", he sent her a large bouquet of flowers for her 40th birthday in early August. However, she is said not to have responded. A personalized card read: "I wish you a happy birthday and better days."
Bouquet of red and yellow roses
The bouquet consisted of a dozen red and two yellow roses. The two yellow flowers are said to have stood as a symbol for his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, with whom he would like to develop a better relationship. According to the report, he wants to be a part of her life because he believes that the two children do not have enough family around them.
He has never seen his grandchildren
Even if he hasn't heard from Meghan, he hopes she likes the flowers. It's okay that she hasn't contacted him yet. Most recently, the relationship between Meghan and her father was completely in the basement. In an interview with the US broadcaster "Fox News" he said that if necessary he wanted to use the court to be allowed to see his grandchildren. He had never seen her before.
The relationship between Markle and his daughter has been broken for years. An alleged trigger: Before Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry (36) in 2018, the "Mail on Sunday" revealed that Thomas Markle had paparazzi pictures staged that showed him preparing for the ceremony.
