Chance of the week! Institutional capital for Innocan!

InnoCan Pharma * (WKN: A2PSPW) suffered a marked correction in Friday trade.

Personally, however, I see this as a great opportunity for the interested investor, because the price slide was probably triggered by a completely wrong interpretation of the circumstances.

On Friday, shortly before the launch of the stock exchange in Canada, the Company announced financing at the price of $0.85:

Innocan Pharma Corporation announcements C $8.2 million private Placement with institutional investors

This immediately triggered sales pressure, as existing shareholders want to take this opportunity to sell their shares and to participate in this financing, as a "goodie" per share is given a warrant of $1.10. I am sure, however, that the sellers have been wrong, because this funding is different from "normal" placements.

The definition of who is admitted as an institutional investor is very clear: an institutional investor must have at least €100 million. Dollar under management and may place securities privately with other institutional investors without registering trading with the SEC. This requires the private placement to be carried out for investment purposes rather than for resale to the public.

This means that neither Canadian funds nor German funds and investment companies qualify for this deal. All those who have been looking forward to a "exchange" are likely to be disappointed and, if they are aware of this, will have to buy back their shares if they want to continue investing in InnoCan Pharma * (WKN: A2PSPW). This could be a good idea, because I think the company is on the verge of a series of important news.

In addition, InnoCan Pharma * (WKN: A2PSPW) is repeatedly proclaimed as a top investment opportunity in the cannabis sector. On Yahoo Finance you can read the following:
